Welcome to Fostered Wellness, formerly Goldenrod Yoga. I’m Britt Foster and I have a passion for health and wellbeing. I love helping others make doable changes to become healthier versions of themselves. It’s not about perfection, it’s about the little things that we can do consistently for greater vitality and longevity. My passion for wellness began when my mother was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Scleroderma. I was often looking for little ways to help her manage her health among things that were within her control. Then I had my own thyroid problems in my twenties and it became a focus for myself as well.
In 2012, I began Yoga Teacher Training through Lincoln Yoga Center. It was life-changing. I gained stress management skills through yoga that I didn’t even know existed. My mental health was better than it had ever been (I had struggled with anxiety and depression). I received my 500 hour certification in 2020 and have been teaching yoga for over a decade. I specialize in yoga for mental health, but enjoy all aspects of yoga.
In 2022, I began nursing school so that I would have a better understanding of human health and the evidence based practices to optimize it. I received my LPN in 2023 and my RN in 2024. I currently offer holistic health coaching services in addition to private yoga practices and retreats. Please contact me for more information.
